About Joshua Wait
Josh has written poetry in a variety of styles since the early 1990s. He's read poetry publicly and participated in a writer’s group for many years. He has studied the poetry of many authors from multiple countries, various cultures, and in multiple languages.
Josh creates paintings with acrylic paint on wood panel and canvas. His subjects vary from time to time but often include landscapes inspired by artists such Giorgio Morandi and Camille Corot. He also creates still life paintings infused with elements of both classical realism and pop art.
Josh has taken photographs of events and people for the various organizations where he has worked or volunteered. His favorite subjects include the wildlife of the SF Bay Area, the landscapes of California, and wildflowers.
When he isn’t writing, painting, or taking photos, he can be found sketching at coffee shops or wandering the streets of the world to discover something new.
